A Note from Jane Seymour

I am delighted to be a part of the My Day for RA educational program, and to host the European Celebratory Event – an important occasion that recognises the daily challenges, aspirations and accomplishments of people living with rheumatoid arthritis, and honours their inspirational stories.

Rheumatoid arthritis can be such a debilitating disease, influencing almost every aspect of a person’s life. Daily tasks that are often taken for granted, such as getting out of bed, going to work or caring for one’s family can become strenuous and painful tasks. Unfortunately, almost three million people suffer from this disease across Europe.

Why am I proud to host the My Day for RA European Celebratory Event? Not only am I personally inspired by those being honoured at the event, but I would like to encourage everyone with this chronic and progressive condition to set goals in order to feel more confident and empowered to manage their rheumatoid arthritis now and in the future.
